Herzog, who lost most of his fingers and toes on the climb,
signed his books with great difficulty.

The dust jacket is in Fair-Good shape. This is the US Edition - 3rd printing in 1953.
The book was first published in 1952 in France, the UK, and the USA.
This is one of the best selling mountaineering books of all time! |
